A completely different Cyprus opens up away from the seaside. This tour leads to the Troodos mountains — a land of pine forests, stone villages, cool gorges, waterfalls, and ancient winemaking traditions.
The first part of the route will pass through picturesque mountain landscapes. You will visit Kakopetria — one of the most famous traditional villages of Troodos, where old stone houses, tiled roofs, and narrow streets create a completely unique atmosphere.
The next stop is Lania, a small picturesque village surrounded by gardens and vineyards. This is a good example of the peaceful rural life of Cyprus, quite different from the resort coastline.
A natural part of the journey will be a walk to one of the mountain waterfalls — Chantara or Millomeris. The specific waterfall is chosen depending on the route and conditions on the day of the tour.
During the day, there will be a stop for lunch at a traditional mountain tavern, where you can get acquainted with local Cypriot cuisine. Lunch is paid separately.
After lunch, you will head to Omodos — one of the most beautiful winemaking villages in Cyprus. Stone houses, cobbled streets, small workshops, and wine shops preserve the atmosphere of the old island.
The journey will conclude with wine tasting of Cypriot wines at a local winery — a great opportunity to learn about the winemaking traditions of Troodos and taste wines made from local grapes.
After the tasting — return to Limassol.
