You will stroll along one of the city’s most elegant boulevards, Passeig de Gràcia, and peek into the Eixample district, where you will find the unusual and stunning creation of Antonio Gaudi – Casa Batlló (or the House of Bones). The Quarry), the most photographed building in Barcelona. It was after the completion of this building that Gaudi uttered the words: “I am too old to endure the whims of wealthy clients.” And he dedicated 43 years of his life and practically all his savings to the construction of the Sagrada Familia.
You will also see the Calvet House, the Güell Palace, and the Casa Vicens – early works of architect Gaudi. We will visit Park Güell, which is a jewel of harmony between nature and Gaudi’s magical architectural forms, learn about his personal life and little-known facts from his biography.
