Exclusive tour: truffle hunting with the chef of the Bellagio restaurant
Super exciting vacation on Lake Como in the mountains at the top of Bellagio, about 40 kilometers north of Milan: you can go mushroom picking or hunt for truffles with the chef, his secret truffle hunters, and his dog.
The chef will pick you up from the town of Bellagio at 10:00 AM and take you directly to the mountains in a private minibus.
Truffles and mushrooms grow on the private land of the restaurant owner’s family with stunning views of the beautiful Lake Como.
You will be able to search for truffles with the owner’s dog, who will tell you many interesting things.
After the hunt, the kitchen of the restaurant in Bellagio will open for you, where you will learn how to wash and preserve truffles and mushrooms and, of course, how to cook them.
Then the chef will personally prepare a salad with fresh mushrooms and truffles, risotto with zucchini flowers combined with homemade tagliolini, and an amazing local dessert, served with local (Italian) wine. (The menu may change depending on the season).
You can enjoy lunch and relax on the restaurant’s terrace.
At 2:30 PM, you will return to the town of Bellagio in a private van with the chef.
Please dress comfortably, in loose sports or casual clothing and comfortable shoes.
In case of bad weather – the tour is not conducted, if the tour has already been booked, it is rescheduled with the client’s agreement or canceled with a refund.
